Paralegal

Paralegals at Grais & Ellsworth support the attorneys in all aspects of litigation and business development. Responsibilities include factual research; proofreading and Bluebooking memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents; drafting of memoranda and correspondence; assisting in the preparation for witness interviews and depositions; maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems and document databases; organizing document productions; and assisting in the preparation, service, and filing of court papers. Paralegals also work with litigation support vendors and court personnel.

Applicants must be detail-oriented, highly motivated, organized, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and cooperatively on a team, manage time efficiently, and think creatively. Prior experience as a paralegal and an interest in or experience with the financial markets is preferred.
