Associate
Associates at Grais & Ellsworth are given significant responsibility early. They research and write memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other documents. They participate in all aspects of discovery, including factual investigation and interviews, drafting requests and responses, preparing for and taking or defending depositions, and arguing discovery disputes. Associates work directly with our clients and help to craft the strategies for our cases. Our small size and aggressive style put a premium on initiative, judgment, creativity, teamwork, and attention to achieving results rather than just logging time.
Candidates should be from top law schools with very strong academic records and sound training at a first-rate law firm or recent experience as a judicial clerk. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York.
